We, the brethren of Aldine Lodge, welcome you to this page in the hope that you will find good information from it, as well as encourage brethren of other lodges to visit us here on the web or in person, if able, during our regular meetings and other events.

Our lodge meetings are held at 8:00 pm (7 pm dinner) on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 151 West Rd, Houston, Texas. We are located across from Aldine High School with ample parking. We hope you will enjoy our company as much as we will yours.

We extend a very special welcome to non-members in the area who are seriously contemplating becoming masons. As we do not solicit, you must do this on your own initiative. (By writing, phoning or emailing us at our Lodge address, or by contacting any brethren you may know).

To help you in your search, we refer you to the Study Help as well as the many fine truly exciting books on freemasonry in Houston or at your local Public Library. Unlimited assistance is readily available from any brethren or Lodge as in friendly advice, pamphlets and video's.

The presence in the modern Masonic system, of many of the emblems, symbols and allegories of the ancient Temples of Initiation, as well as certain rites performed therein, has persuaded the most learned among Masonic scholars to conclude that Masonry is of very ancient origin, and is, in some aspects, the modern successor of, and heir to, the sublime mysteries of the Temple of Solomon, and of the Temples of India, Chaldea, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, as well as the basic doctrine of the Essenes, Gnostics and other mystic Orders.
